Sporadically vehicle with fire up but would never run very long remove spare tire to access fuel pump module which is a known problem on these vehicles found that fuel pump module has already been replaced plugged in the new unit just to check same problem use the stethoscope to listen for fuel pump fuel pump will run only my key is turned on but will not continue to run during start where to go open the hood to check for relays and fuse problems with electrical and found that hood release cable is completely gone from car have to spend time to try and get put open so that I may finish the diagnosis. You scan tool to observe fuel pump and pressure notice that pressure on fuel rail does not increase when spinning engine over noted RPM from crank sensor on data stream and notice that speed does not ever change codes in ECM are p0316 p0320 p2106. Harness for crankshaft position sensor has been rubbing against the AC compressor pulley it has one through the wires and made them contact each other need to repair harness to crankshaft position sensor. Repaired wires, test vehicle, all is good.
